Position:  Associate and Licensed Clinicians 

Hours: Full Time and Part Time (In-Person/Hybrid)

WA Locations: Port Orchard

Pay:  

Pay ranges between $45k and $83k depending on qualifications and caseload.  


Benefits:

 NWTG offers a benefits package with medical and dental insurance for full-time employees. We offer a 401K for all employees. Full time and half-time therapists have the potential for student loan forgiveness. We offer 28 days of PTO each year, including 10 paid holidays. We also offer consultation on a weekly basis and supervision to all associate level therapists. 


Description of Responsibilities: 

We are seeking a highly motivated, compassionate and dedicated Licensed Therapist to join our diverse and supportive team. The successful candidate will provide quality counseling services to populations as agreed upon which may include: individuals, families, couples, and diverse minority groups. They will also play a vital role in contributing to our mission of creating a more inclusive, accepting, and healthy community. 


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or closely related field. (Licensed in the State of Washington to conduct Psychotherapy)
  • Knowledge and experience with evidence-based treatment strategies towards current DSM covered diagnosis. 
  • Knowledge and experience with the community support model. 
  • Previous experience working as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team and working
  • collaboratively with other service providers.
  • Therapeutic skills relevant to the definition above.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to include use of EHR software or equivalent for scheduling, time
  • Management and all clinical documentation.
  • Must pass a criminal background and Inspector General check.
  • Must be able to credential as am “Approved Service Provider” with the WHCA.


Typical Therapeutic Duties:

 

  • Work in collaboration with referral sources, community service providers, and adjunctive service providers to assess, develop, and facilitate individualized treatment services and ensure continuity of care.
  • Provide a broad range of medically necessary therapeutic services, including intakes, individual therapy, and group therapy. Services may be provided in agency sites and online through the agency's EHR.
  • Work collaboratively with an adult's multi-disciplinary team.  Manage individual and shared client caseloads per agency guidelines, develop services appropriate to a community-based service model and participate in the management of program resources within a managed care framework.
  • Work in treatment collaboration with NWTG clinicians, leadership, and referral sources to assess, develop, and facilitate individual client treatment services and ensure consistency of care with other involved providers.
  • Practice successful client engagement skills and strategically address clients with a frequent and predictable no-show pattern. Close clients when appropriate.
  • Maintain regular attendance to ensure continuity of quality client care.
  • Agrees to allow NWTG to advertise your services. 
  • Other duties as assigned.


Therapeutic Responsibilities: 

 

  • Hold sessions as scheduled.
  • Diagnose appropriately, with proper documentation supporting the diagnosis. 
  • Session notes completed within 48 hours of the session.
  • Invoice for sessions filed within 48 hours, session note must be completed first.
  • Treatment plans completed by the 3rd session. 
  • Develop 24-hour crisis plans and utilize the High-Risk Protocol as appropriate. 
  • Maintain clients' charts in accordance with WAC and agency standards.  
  • Adhere to agency policy pertaining to documentation and chart maintenance.
  • Attend mandatory meetings as assigned.
  • Adhere to agency Performance Standard Expectations.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and psychiatric consultation on a regular and scheduled basis. This includes all group supervision sessions unless excused by your clinical
