I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My approach is meeting the needs of my clients; everyone is unique, and their therapy should be catered to them. I utilize various modalities in therapy to empower clients in self-awareness and growth. I utilize evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches, including cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, narrative, EMDR, somatic, and more.
I am honored to walk with my clients in their healing journey. I provide therapy that offers support for resiliency, healing, addiction, and chronic mental health issues. I work with individuals (ages 16 and older). I am currently providing hybrid services with remote and in-person availability.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Webster University in Fort Bliss, Texas. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Webster University in Fort Bliss, Texas. I believe one of the bravest things you can do is to admit to yourself: “This isn’t working - where do I go from here?” When you’re in the middle of a transition, the uncertainty and anxiety can be difficult to cope with.
If you’ve been struggling to be kinder to yourself, your mind is flooded with anxious “what-if’s”, or if your depression keeps you feeling “stuck” in life - I’m ready to work with you. I am also passionate about working with newer therapists in the field, military veterans, people who work in creative/artistic fields, and folks in the LGBTQ+ community (including folks seeking gender confirmation surgery letters).
My approach to therapy is integrated and experiential. While working together, I use interventions from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness techniques, and others. I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence-based form of psychotherapy that incorporates eye movements and voluntary image replacement to help you process and bring relief to the re-experiencing of traumatic memories; ART can also be used to help some day-to-day challenges like situational anxiety and depression.
Therapy should be a place where we not only build insight into your unhelpful patterns, but also help you develop coping skills to help you function better on the day-to-day. Throughout our work together, I will continually check in about how you’re feeling about your progress toward your goals, and whether or not we need to adjust course.
I believe that everyone has an inner wisdom within them that can guide them to the life they want to live - my role is to help you find and strengthen that voice. As your therapist, I will work with you to help identify your personal strengths (you *do* have them, I promise!), develop self-compassion, and feel more comfortable in your identity. My goal is to get you closer to living a more fulfilled life - not only one that you can be fully present in, but that you can truly enjoy.
Growing up as a military child and now a military spouse, I’ve lived in the south, the east coast, and am now settled in Tumwater. When I’m not therapist-ing, I’m either reading, doing yoga, watching documentaries, going on nature walks, and spending time with my husband and our animals (2 cats and 2 dogs).
I am LGBTQIA+, disability, racial and social justice allied. I work with adults and teens (ages 13+) and am offering hybrid services, with availability for remote or in-person appointments (beginning mid-June, I will only be available for virtual sessions). I would be honored to be part of your journey for change!

I am a military spouse to a U.S. Army soldier (JBLM) and a mother of 2 loving boys & 2 female Frenchies. I was born in the Philippines, raised in Guam, and moved to Oahu, Hawaii where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have been practicing in community mental health as a LMHCA in the State of Washington since 2018. Overall, I possess 8+ years of progressive experience within Developmental Disabilities, Mental Health, and Addictions field. I am a wholehearted person-centered psychotherapist. In my work and personal life, I am passionate about integrating the mind, body, and soul. I provide a non-judgmental space and unconditional positive regard incorporating research-based practices. While my treatment modalities align with Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy—I'm adept at tailoring my approach to the unique needs of each of my clients. I work with adolescents (13+) and adults. I help with the process of healing depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem. Together, we can explore underlying inner childhood traumas, attachment/abandonment issues, and interpersonal conflict. Sometimes the source of the hurt is clearly known, other times it’s waiting to be discovered. My main purpose is to help others reach their potential in living a happy, healthy, and satisfying life.

am a lover of nature, especially the water, and hope to paddle board more. I am dedicated to my own self-care practice to support me in moving more fully into my own wholeness. I absolutely
love being a therapist and am truly passionate about deepening our presence and connection with
one another through the process of healing.
It is my greatest honor to be a witness to the unfolding and awakening that occurs in therapy, inviting us to a more integrated experience of ourselves and the world around us. In my work, I
seek to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thought and behavior
patterns through past and present experiences, while building on the skills you already have. I utilize tools that work best for the client and draw from approaches such as DBT, CBT,
Psychoeducation and Mindfulness, which includes exploration through visualization and art.
I have over 20 years of experience supporting people as they learn to navigate challenging life changes, growth in their relationships, new tools for anxiety and depression, and healing from
past trauma. I have a great passion for working with people living with chronic and complicated illness. I also provide therapy for loved ones caring for someone with chronic illness - with a
special place in my heart for those supporting their children. I love working with parents and caregivers from pregnancy and preparing to adopt, to birth and adoption, and the lifespan of the parenting experience!
I have worked with the LGBTQIA community for many years and have a great passion for supporting our youth as they discover and express who they are. I utilize a social justice lens to explore issues with-in a larger context. I work with people ages 13 and older with a special focus on teens, young adults and elders. My primary goal is for you to feel safe and empowered during our sessions, with you choosing what we work on and the pace that we go.

Katie has always had a passion for serving others. Her husband retired from the U.S. Army in June of 2021 after 20 years of service during which time Katie had the privilege of volunteering and working with military families within his units in various capacities. She quickly learned the challenges that military families face as individuals and in relationship to having to frequently relocate, endure deployments, and manage other mental and emotional obstacles. Katie's experiences and desire to serve others led her to add on to her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Louisville and achieve her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
Katie works primarily with teens, adults, and couples providing therapy in
treating relationship issues, depression, anxiety, anger, life transitions, and self-esteem issues. She is committed to helping clients feel more empowered, develop healthier ways of thinking and behaving by tapping into their own strengths and finding meaning and purpose in their lives. The theoretical approaches Katie uses include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Gottman, Positive Psychology, and Strength-Based Therapy.
In her spare time, you can find Katie gardening, biking, hiking, taking a Zumba class, spending time with family, and watching documentaries.

Hi, I’m Mars (she/her). I believe that relationship is the foundation of healing and growth. Our
therapeutic relationship should be grounded in stability, reliability, and nonjudgmental
acceptance – a secure environment where you are free to express vulnerability, anger, sadness,
anxieties, transitions, faith, or hopes—exploring new modes of relating with body, mind, spirit,
and engaging with others. I don’t standardize my approach—insight grows from our exchanges.
You guide me through the map of your experiences as I point out features in the terrain that
you may have missed while you were focused on driving.
My community mental health experience includes working with people (age 13 forward)
presenting with anxiety, trauma, neurodivergence, teen gender transitions, and religious/faith
trauma. My stance supports and engages ignored aspects of your strengths. Guided by
existentialism, mindfulness-based practices, feminist and narrative therapies, EFT and Imago
principles for couples, I see the mind, body, and environment as one system striving for greater
unity and balance. I enjoy working with couples and individuals.
My own experiences are varied: caring for cattle, sheep, pigs, and chickens, providing in-home
support for a gender-transitioning adolescent, elder caregiving, years in the live music scene,
more years immersed in an enclosed monastic setting, art conservation work, and holding a
bachelors in visual arts—I love to use creativity in therapy through rich metaphor and tactile
arts. My background brings me to our sessions with an open mind, welcoming your unique
story. I am LGBTQQIP2SAA affirming. While history informs our perspectives, we often get
‘stuck’ reading our past chapters. I hope to help uncover inspiration for writing our new ones.
I am currently providing convenient telehealth services.
